David and the great detective

'Let's look for those boys... and find your bike!' David dreams of becoming a great detective, like David Delgado, his hero. When thieves take Jack's bike David decides to help him to get it back. Can he find Jack's bike and become the detective of his dream? David is always dreaming and interesting boy. This book's main character is David but I think the hero that help Jack is the two other girl... Some action scene make me excited.

The lottery wintrer

Just think. You min five million pounds in the lottery - suddenly you are rich! Everybody wants to win the lottery. A million pounds, perhaps five million, even ten million. How wonderful! Emma Carter buys a ticket for the lottery every week, and puts the ticket carefully in her bag. She is seventy-three years old and doesn't have much money. She would like to visit her son in Australia, but tickets are very expensive. Jason Williams also buys lottery tickets every week. But he is not a very nice young man. He sometimes steals things. One day, he hits old ladies in the street, snatches their bags and run away.. I like the lottery because we can dream for rich. This book's title is "the lottery winner" and I decided to read because of just this title. I thought this is happy, dreaming and fun story. However, the story is not only happiness but also sad. It was very interesting and I recommend you to read this book.

Ear-rings from Frankfurt

I finished reading this book but it took longer time to read than I have expected. This book is a little difficult for me to understand, I think some expressions are unclear. At first, I was able to understand clearly and it kept me in suspense but I think it was imperfect around the end of this book.    This is suspense or mystery fiction about a sibling. Richard Walton is in trouble again. He has lost his job, and he has borrowed money from his sister, Jennifer again. And now he has disappeared. Jennifer is looking for him, and police, too. They both have some questions that they want to ask him.     How did he lose his job?     Why did he fly to Frankfurt?     Who gave his girlfriend those very expensive gold ear-rings? Will they find him?

One-way ticket

This book consists of three short stories; 1. The girl with green eyes 2. South for the winter 3. Mr Harris and the night train These are all stories of what happened on the train. Each story was very short and easy to read, but the content was not so detailed.

The piano

'I can play the piano,' he thought. 'Nobody taught me, but my mind tells my fingers what to do, and I can make music.'    One day, a farmer tells a farm boy to take everything out of an old building and throw it away. 'It's all rubbish,' he says.    In the middle of all the rubbish, the boy finds a beautiful old piano. He has never played the piano before, but now, when his fingers touch the piano, he begins to play. He closes his eyes and the music comes to him, and the music moves his fingers.    When he opens his eyes again, he knows that his life is changed forever... I thought all character in this story is good. This book made me happy.

Alice's adventures in wonderland

’What a strange feeling!’ said Alice. 'I think I'm getting smaller and smaller every second.'  The story focuses on Alice, a young girl who falls asleep in a meadow and dreams that she follows the white rabbit  down a rabbit hole. She has many surprises, often strange adventures, often changing size unexpectedly. She encounters the hookah-smoking Caterpillar, the Duchess , and the cat , and she attends a strange endless tea party with the Mad Hatter  and the March Hare . She plays a game of croquet. Later, many things happened to Alice and  she  is then called as a witness in the trial of the Knave of Hearts, who is accused of having stolen the Queen’s tarts. However, when the Queen demands that Alice be beheaded, Alice realizes that the characters are only a pack of cards, and she then awakens from her dream.    As you know, this is very famous fantasy story. I had read this book in Japanese but reading in English is the first time for me. I read  same story, but re

The Elephant Man

I stopped in front of the shop and looked at the picture. At first I felt interested, then I felt angry, then afraid. It was a horrible, ugly picture. There was a man in the picture, but he did not look like you and me. He did not look like a man. He looked like an elephant.    Dr Frederick is a doctor in London Hospital. One day in 1884, he saw a picture in the window of the shop near the hospital. And he asked a man in the shop to show him the elephant man. He looked at the creature and felt sad. He is a doctor, so He know a lot about accidents and ill people. But this creature, this thing , was the worst of all.    The elephant man is not beautiful. His mother doesn't want him, children run away from him. People laugh at him, and call Him 'the elephant man'. Then someone speaks to him! At the age of 27, Joseph Marrick finds a friend for the first time in his life.    This is a true and tragic story. It is now also a famous film.    I didn't know this story th
